The LinkBuds S by Sony Review

The LinkBuds S by Sony Review

The LinkBuds S by Sony are wireless earbuds that are ultra-compact and light in weight. They can be worn comfortably around the clock and switch to ambient sound or high-quality noise cancellation automatically. When you are not listening to music, the LinkBuds automatically switch to noise cancellation to ensure you have a better audio experience.

The LinkBuds S is also compatible with Google Assistant, Alexa, and Siri. The earbuds are easy to insert and have a secure fit. They also provide rich bass reproduction. They even have an ANC feature that sends sounds through your microphone. This helps you stay connected to the environment and enjoy conversations with others.

The LinkBuds S is available now for pre-order, with general availability beginning on May 20. It is expected to sell for $200 and will be available at most retailers. It sits right in the middle of Sony’s true wireless lineup, between the high-end WF-1000XM4 and the more budget-friendly WF-C500. The cheaper LinkBuds do not feature Auto Play, but they do offer Bluetooth LE Audio support.

The battery of the LinkBuds S can be recharged for up to 14 hours, which means that it can be used for longer than usual. They charge quickly, requiring just 15 minutes to go from dead to 100 percent. Battery life is also long enough, at about four hours of playback with the ANC on.

Sound quality is very good, thanks to the 5mm dynamic drivers. Bass reproduction is crisp, but the high-frequency reproduction is slightly muffled and lacking punch. The LinkBuds S’ mid-bass reproduction is neutral, but vocals are pushed to the back of the mix. So while the LinkBuds S are decent in the sound quality department, they aren’t good enough to replace your regular headphones.

Audio performance is another strong point of the LinkBuds S. Although they’re not as neutral as their competition, they have excellent imaging quality. As a result, the LinkBuds S can be used to listen to a wide range of music. This includes classical, jazz, and other genres.

The LinkBuds S by Sony are very capable wireless earbuds. They have excellent transparency mode and easy-to-use controls. They’re lightweight enough to wear all day and are also very comfortable. They can block out most ambient noise, and they have a great IPX4 rating. The sound quality of the LinkBuds S is very good and the price is competitive. They’re also comfortable and lightweight enough to fit in your pocket.

The LinkBuds S come with a charging case, a USB-C cable, and four pairs of silicone earbud tips. The XS and S sizes come with medium-sized tips. Additionally, the packaging includes guides and warranty paperwork.
